SINCRESIS Cultural Association for Contemporary Arts presents the creative work done in the studio at our Belgian residence Dany Danino who recently exhibited his works in Venice on the occasion of the exhibition curated by Wunderkammer Antonio Nardone at Palazzo Widmann with artists such as Jan Fabre and Jim Delvoye .
He has worked in our environment and in our space for three weeks and offers the public characteristics of his creative path set to the dialogue between drawing and painting as a comparison between two artistic modes in their specificity, to express his poetry.

In fact, Dany’s works is characterized by a continuous exploration into the visible that feeds her imagination to project beyond any model, scheme, or subject, which is filtered on an emotional level to become something else. His analytical gaze directed towards the totality of the aspects of the world, from biological to inorganic, the natural generation of human artifice draws influences digital photography grafted into the global village of telematic connection, as the free search through the internet allows to obtain a variety of test material and personally rework according to your imagination and expressiveness.

Her creative functioning becomes, therefore, a mix of technology and craftsmanship brought about by modifying the objective data in the subjective lyrical creation. My work – says the artist – is based on the observation of photographed reality. The drawing takes me through the process of visual analysis of the subject, forming a mental notion of it and then transferring this mental image onto paper. Memory plays an important role in this process since a minimum time interval between the observation time and the drawing time is always inevitable. It is also important to understand and accept the fact that it is impossible to keep the totality of what is perceived. Chance is always part of the process. Because the hand cannot be compared to taking a hit, it introduces flaws in the design that are physical and emotional traces of the artist’s body. In other words, the purpose of the drawing is not photographic precision, but proposes a personal interpretation of the subject. The concepts of memory, chance, physicality and personality are the key elements of my drawing work, and I am interested in finding ways to transpose and transform into painting “.

Every day he made a pictorial work is placed directly on the wall just finished, dynamic and traces of a path, subjects of the natural universe to work on again and then come to an assembly in which one and the other seems to generate continuous creation, reverse, juxtaposing, contrast…. tirelessly.

During the inauguration, in fact, Dany will be involved in a performance, as a continuation of his work, with a large canvas.
