VERONA Artfair 2013

SINCRESIS becomed an artist residency in 2012. It hosted Aurelll Lemille from La Reunion in september 2012, Riikka Haapasaari, from Finland in february 2013, Dany Danino from Belgium in September 2013. In the next months there will be these artists to work, to realize an exhibition or to organize a workshop: Amili Gelbman from Israel, Scott Townsend from North Carolina, Dori Dorien Karam e Alyssa Simone from Australia.

In november 2012 SINCRESIS promoted THE FIRST COMPETITION ARTIST RESIDENCY to guarantee a period as free residency to selected artists who sent a project. The Committee was formed by Marcello Di Donato, Lucia Giardino, Mario Gorni, Laura Vecere. The selected artists were: Edoardo Aruta, Roberto Atzori, Chiara Bersani, Chiara Bertin, Daniele Giuseppe Bornino, Christiana Caro, Alberto Venturini.

EDOARDO ARUTA, Time is geography, 2013

A series of papers with images of contrivances of watches that the public can see and leave on the floor without a precise order as to form a tapestry installation with casuality, as accumulation of visible materials until to the artfair end.

ROBERTO ATZORI, Overthinking, 2013, video

A video as a mix of images about a walking trip started from Rome to Spain during the last summer, as a reflection about the transiente of life and of death.

DANIELE GIUSEPPE BORNINO, Upfade, 2013

The artist presents a photo series on a screen about UPFADE project, in collaboration with the painter Vincenzo Grosso and with the independent curator Carolina Jiménez, who thinks about Brlin as a point of reference and place of life. UPFADE is a used word in radio communication to describe a phenomenon in which there is a signal that gains strength traveling from input to output between two distinct paths.

ALBERTO VENTURINI, Meno, 2012

A poster with two faces, on one side a mathematic symbol and on the other a text with numerous omissions by Antonin Artaud, “the theater and its double”, is delivered and presented directly to the public by the artist engaded in a performance during on the 11^th of October, in the afternoon.
