After the experience of “Better to eat a little every day so that once a month”, which took place last May in Montelupo Fiorentino, in conjunction with a flea market organized by “Dituttodipiù”, the project now comes to a kind of second reconnaissance. New test bench is SINCRESIS, the Cultural Association for Contemporary Arts directed by Alessandra Scappini in Empoli, that on 4 and 5 October 2014 will host an exhibition entitled “More art for all!”. As in the previous step, the intent is to explore, through the initiative of a group of artists who have joined the cause, the relationship and the relationship / conflict between art and craft, as location and value of the artist within a system and its “survival” in the system itself … a paradigm of the condition of anyone who wants to reflect on the contemporary meaning of the word “work”. Articulated in both the internal and external spaces of the gallery, the exhibition was then after careful thought on the issue of the artwork and its “spread” through the different economic experiences and communication, particularly the most popular and so to say “anarchist” who today are lymph through internet or in areas “alternative”. Discussion in discussion, came the idea to call into play the issue, to cause the occasional visitor who often remain passive in the face of so-called artistic manifestations, and to go to establish a purposeful dialogue between artists, collectors, fans, patrons, just curious: try not to relegate the idea of the whole institution, often with its rigid systems and limiting, referring not to the gallery as such, but to the system; overturning and not the meaning, but the end itself. The gallery is open to the needs of these five artists who, in turn, will involve other artists, theorists and practitioners, following a line of thought of the dialogue, going to expose and create “market” with their works, but also presenting various objects , concepts, cultural projects, live demonstrations of their “making art”, aiming to reflect on the role of “production”. The exhibition, from simple (so to speak) container of objects of art, aspires to become a content transformation: each author will set up a sort of counter, where “haggling” their production, but the bank will also be a space of direct dialogue, in progress, during the two days of the initiative. You could call this an exhibition “open”, able to reach out to those who often gets shy and afraid to instances more elitist art, trying to compare, exchange, sale, as saying: “… a handshake and the deal is done! “(and accept bitcoin and other criptovalute). The title, almost a slogan, in addition to echo a manipulation of the consent of our recent past, claims taking responsibility in the artists get involved, in the ambition to get out of a system of rules, the prevailing power, head high, courageously … Claiming also own space of action, putting into question, trying to establish itself within the rules then upset them, these artists will create a marketplace and evaluation staff, both economic (in the sale and disclosure of their commitment) that art, in the role that work takes in society “popular”. In addition to the initiators of the project, the artists Lisa Batacchi, Raphael Becucci, Lapo Binazzi (UFO), Giancarlo Norese and Claudio Parrini, participate Vito Deleonardis its “Expressions 900”, a collection of catalogs and art books, many of which are true and rarities, and Jacopo Renai, with designer items and more. Moreover, coordinated by the historian and art critic Francesco Galluzzi (with the collaboration of Claudio Parrini), will be presented two meetings open to the public that are going to go deeper into the question:
Saturday, October 4 at 17, will be the turn of the philosopher Ubaldo Fadini, while Sunday, October 5, again at 17, will hold a “chat” with the photographer Aurelio Amendola (which for the occasion will also be showing his photographic work).
