2012- Developed studio to create digital and physical interaction in Hunt Library (a $120,000,000 state of the art digital library, NC State University, Raleigh, NC).
2011- Developed funded studio GD 400 “Identity and Community.”
2009- Co-developed 410 with emphasis on interaction design- Amber Howard lead.
2008- Co-developed GD 492- Prague Studio Narrative Photo and Book Design, GD 510: authored a new version of 510 that introduced specific ideas of interaction and visualization design and user testing processes. Split course into first and second year grads. Co-developed GD 202 revised course as “people in environments.” New course examines design activities in 1-physical contexts, 2- reading contexts (looking at a hypothetical user), and 3- programmatic/interactive design.
2007- GD 400- 01, Exhibition Design project with GAD.
2006- GD 492 experimental course offering “Focus Studio” based on motion design at the 400 level, hosted Johanna Drucker, Robertson professor of Media Studies, UVA in New Information Seminar, public lecture.
