OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS ARTE E SOSTENIBILITÀ
PARTECIPA AL PROGRAMMA DI RESIDENZA PER ARTISTI fino al 20 dicembre 2023
SINCRESIS promuove un nuovo bando e organizza un progetto nei propri spazi a Empoli e presso il Castello Sonnino e I Lecci Centro di Cultura della vite e del vino a Montespertoli in Provincia di Firenze con il contributo della Città Metropolitana di Firenze e il patrocinio del Comune di Montespertoli. Il progetto comprende 1) una tavola rotonda sul tema ARTE E SOSTENIBILITÀ , 2) una residenza gratuita per almeno tre artisti under 35 residenti in Toscana per almeno cinque giorni con la garanzia delle spese di soggiorno e di viaggio, 3) una serie di laboratori artistici dedicati ai vari target di pubblico partecipante.
Ogni artista interessato al programma di residenza potrà proporre un progetto che consideri gli aspetti dell’ambiente naturale di Montespertoli, i luoghi, in particolare gli spazi esterni, gli appezzamenti di terreno, proponendo un’opera come “segno” nell’ambiente, preferibilmente realizzato con materiali naturali, per dialogare con i luoghi da cui trarre ispirazione e suggestioni. Agli artisti selezionati (almeno tre) sarà garantito un periodo di residenza gratuita; durante il programma di residenza (almeno cinque giorni) potranno confrontarsi sulla fattibilità del proprio progetto con gli organizzatori e in particolare con il presidente dell’associazione Sincresis e con alcuni artisti che vivono sul territorio e che hanno già realizzato opere d’arte sostenibile.
I progetti selezionati (almeno venti) saranno presentati negli spazi Sincresis di Empoli e contestualmente verranno scelti tre progetti per garantire un programma di residenza gratuito ai rispettivi tre artisti. L’intento è quello di organizzare un progetto interessante e complesso e organico per creare impatto nell’ambiente naturale e nell’universo dell’arte, e per sensibilizzare il pubblico e valorizzare i luoghi e le opere e i progetti degli artisti.
Il progetto nasce quindi dall’esigenza di presentare esperienze artistiche contemporanee, permettendo il dialogo, lo scambio e la riflessione sulla creazione artistica come commistione degli aspetti generativi, estetici e funzionali del fare arte.
L’Associazione Sincresis si riserva il diritto di non selezionare materiali inadeguati e che non assumano rilevanza progettuale in relazione all’arte sostenibile. Il giudizio degli organizzatori è insindacabile.
L’organizzazione è gestita dall’associazione Sincresis.
COME PARTECIPARE:
Ogni artista può partecipare inviando almeno un progetto in pdf con spiegazione, disegni, foto (risoluzione massima 199 kB) al seguente indirizzo di posta elettronica a.scappini@virgilio.it o info@sincresisarte.com entro il 20 dicembre 2023 allegando il curriculum o il portfolio, il modulo di iscrizione debitamente compilato, un documento di identità e la ricevuta di versamento di un contributo di 20 euro quale iscrizione a titolo di donazione all’associazione utile a provvedere alla selezione e alla esposizione dei progetti e alla preparazione e organizzazione delle presentazioni durante la tavola rotonda (la ricevuta relativa alla iscrizione indicata sarà inviata dall’associazione via email o posta cartacea ad ogni singolo partecipante). PARTICIPATE TO RESIDENCY PROGRAM FOR ARTISTS until 20 december 2023
SINCRESIS promotes a new call and organizes a project in own spaces in Empoli and in Castello Sonnino and I Lecci Wine in Montespertoli with the contribution of Metropolitan City of Florence and the patronage of Municipality of Montespertoli including 1) a round table based on ART AND SUSTAINABILITY, 2) a free residence for at least three artists under 35 living in Tuscany for at least five days guaranteeing living and travel expenses, 3) a series of art workshops dedicated to the various targets of the interested public.
Each artist interested in residency program will be able to propose a project considering the aspects of the natural environment in Montespertoli, the places in particular the external spaces, the plots of land, proposing a work as a “sign” in the environment, preferably made with natural materials, to dialogue with the places from which to draw inspiration and suggestions. A period of residence will be guaranteed to the artists selected (at least three); during the residency program (at least five days) they will be able to discuss regarding the feasibility of one’s own project
with the organizers and in particular with the president of the Sincresis association and with some artists who live in the area and who have already created works of sustainable art.
The projects selected (at least twenty) will be presented in Sincresis spaces in Empoli and at the same time three projects will be chosen to guarantee a free residency program to the respective three artists. The intent is to organize an interesting and complex and organic project to create impact in the natural environment and in the universe of art, and to raise awareness the public and enhance the places and the artists works and projects.
The project therefore arises from the need to present contemporary artistic experiences, allowing dialogue, exchange and reflection on artistic creation as a mixture of the generative, aesthetic and functional aspects of making art.
Sincresis Association reserves the right not to select inadequate materials and which do not assume significance as project in relation with sustainable art. The judgment of the organizers is final.
The organization is managed by the Sincresis association.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Each artist can participate by sending at least a project in pdf with an explication, drawings, photos (maximum resolution 199 kB) to the following e-mail address a.scappini@virgilio.it or info@sincresisarte.com until 20 december 2024 by attaching curriculum or portfolio, the duly completed registration form, an identity document and the receipt of payment of a contribution of 20 euros as registration as a donation to the association useful for providing for the preparation and organization of the presentations during the round table and the exhibition of the projects until the final award ceremony (the receipt relating to the receipt of the indicated donation will be sent by email or paper mail by the association to each individual participant).
