SINCRESIS Cultural Association for contemporary arts houses the creative works about nineteen artists who work in Israel presented by Amili Gelbman, curator of artists group “And I couldn’t say” established in 2006. It has presented 25 programs / art exhibitions worldwide U.S., Portugal, England, Italy, Austria – and Israel. “And I Couldn’t Say” exists to create an open discussion of work and ideas – puzzle, characterized by the dialogue with an Israeli identity, and immortalization of a defined point in time between the past and the present. The group is currently comprised of Israeli Professional artists, whose motives are to create art, to present their individual social statements in an artistic way, such that would endeavour to touch humanity by the strings of interpersonal and universal relationships. “Art – Amili writes – is a familiar and cosy way as a starting point in the preservation of a memory. Creation of art develops from human volition. Individual artist expresses the freedom to achieve his true personal identity in daily events and to reflect on his relationships with fellow humans. Artists are focusing on revealing their inner feelings, as well as those of an outside world and how it affects the individual; artists’ works are a cathedral of contemplation, they unite cultural roots and discover riches of imagination while experiencing insights of techniques and materials. The topic is creativity. There might be several reasons for why artists may have invested in the study of creativity, all of which would relate equally importantly to the field of psychology of creativity and to the world in general. The artist paints not necessarily what he sees in front of him, but mostly what he feels. Any new form of art is a creative expression of what had previously faced resistance, being adopted into the artist’s toolkit. The existence of contemporary artist presents him with every day dilemmas, he ought to choose between the option of being honest and that of being guided by external laws. Public looking at the picture must interpret the symbols as they understand them. The World of Arts encourages visitors to contemplate on how art exacts wonder, imparts wisdom, and tangibly affects people’s lives around the world. This exhibition explores again the importance of contemporary art and creativity in the world and gives visitors a taste of the breadth and the quality of visual symbol’s appearance, willingly bearing a central idea. In our current exhibition we propose nineteen expositions of theories by artists, representing various multidisciplinary approaches to creativity.
